7 Things You Didn’t Know – James Childers

1. Where do you work and what is your title?

I work for the Town of Flower Mound as the Town Manager

2) What was your first job and did you like it?

I worked for Just for Feet in Tulsa, OK as a summer job. I liked it a lot… especially the discounts I got on shoes!

3) What is your favorite T.V. show?

Breaking Bad. I discovered it late but got really into it.

4) What is something about you that would surprise people?

I’m an extremely finicky eater. I don’t eat seafood and the only condiment I really use is BBQ Sauce… I know that it’s weird.    

5) What’s your favorite holiday and why?

Thanksgiving because of food, family, and reflection on how you’ve been blessed 

6) What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

I’ve received a lot of great advice both personally and professionally, but my mother taught me to worry about the things that I can control and pray about the things that I can’t.

7) What makes you laugh the most?

Any Chris Tucker performance… I can quote most of his movies much to my family’s chagrin
