“Many people still look at a day spa as a luxury, or only for a gift to give someone else or for a celebration. However, the concept is gradually changing,” says Yvonne Stewart, the owner of Woodhouse Spa – Highland Village. 

“People now want to feel nurtured and connected. Everything we do is curated to help guests feel better so they can operate better in the world. Some guests come every week, some every two weeks, some monthly, depending on their service needs.”

Woodhouse has been a one-stop destination in the county, offering wellness services since 2018. Founded with a mission to provide true renewal that leads to a more joyful life, the spa is celebrating its fifth glorious year in 2023.

This summer, Woodhouse has added Dazzle Dry Nail Lacquer, a revolutionary lacquer system for attainable luxury nails, to its services. The product has all plant-based ingredients and is free of harsh chemicals. 

Services such as deep tissue transformation, black sand rejuvenation body treatment, and HydraFacial Classic, etc., are currently in high demand. Deep tissue transformation is an intensive massage for whole-body healing, using customized pressure to target and release muscular stress. Black sand rejuvenation includes black sand and pumice stone combined for an invigorating full-body exfoliation that includes nourishing sea minerals. HydraFacial Classic is an advanced treatment using a patented Vortex-Fusion system to exfoliate, extract and hydrate skin. The experience concludes with the application of antioxidants and peptides to seal in a youthful glow.
