Educate with Integrity; Restore with Care

Hillcrest Family Dental

What is it that you’re looking for in your next dentist? Perhaps you want to feel more confident in your smile, or maybe you want to sleep better at night, and have access to an office that can treat all of your family’s oral health needs. For most people, it’s all those things — and perhaps there’s no better place to achieve that positive experience than and restore with care with Hillcrest Dental.

Dr. Namrata Shah and her knowledgeable and compassionate team at Hillcrest Dental have served Castle Hills residents and surrounding communities for nearly a decade. More importantly, they are the perfect blend of an old-fashioned, family-style practice and a high-end office that prides itself on innovative, cutting-edge technology to ensure patients have a comfortable and restore positive dental experience. Simply put, they check all the boxes you’re looking for today, tomorrow, and for years to come.

“We are a private-owned practice, not a corporate office or chain location where you might see a different dentist each time,” Dr. Shah said. “I enjoy helping people with their oral health, and many of our patients have been with us since the beginning.”

Dr. Shah added, “Everyone deserves access to a dental practice they can trust.”

Dr. Shah couldn’t have imagined doing anything different with her life. She’d been interested in the healthcare industry since she was a young girl and almost immediately latched onto the idea of becoming a dentist. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado at Denver School of Dental Medicine. She continues taking continuing education courses to enhance her skills to serve everyone’s dental care needs better.

She is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Association. Since opening Hillcrest Dental, her goal has been to create a family-friendly dental office that treats patients from their first tooth through retirement and all ages in between. They manage everything from your children’s checkups and cosmetic dentistry to natural-looking implant restorations and appliances for TMD and teeth grinding.

She is also the only dentist at Hillcrest, meaning that you won’t have to worry about having several dentists throughout your care journey. That said, Dr. Shah has partnered with renowned periodontist Dr. Pooria Fallah. Dr. Fallah has been in practice since 2005 and is certified to use lasers to treat periodontal and gum disease — all without leaving the comfort of Hillcrest Dental’s welcoming office. Surrounding this dynamic duo are a team of support staff, assistants, and dental hygienists.

A doting wife and mother of two who enjoys painting, cooking, baking, and trying new cuisines, Dr. Shah said she has always been a creative person and utilizes that skillset along with a detail-oriented mindset to be the best in the areas of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. She can also step in for emergency situations and counsel patients with sleep apnea.

“Our new patient exams are 90 minutes long,” Dr. Shah said. She added that they offer early and late appointments to accommodate different schedules and lives. They’re also open on Saturdays. “This allows us to get to know our patients, understand their unique needs, and provide comprehensive treatment plans. If there’s anything we can’t do, we have partners to refer them to. More importantly, we strive to educate our patients on their oral health.

“It’s full transparency with the dental work and on the insurance side — one thing that separates us is that our patients will always be heavily involved with each step of their journey to restore with us. It’s a team approach.”
