Easter Brunch

Easter is March 31, and reservations for Easter brunch fill up early. So if you’re one of the families whose traditions include going out for brunch — and that number rises year after year — check out these local options.

Verf’s, Flower Mound — For a restaurant whose normal Sunday brunch is outstanding, Verf’s goes all out for their Easter brunch buffet. In addition to an omelet and taco station, get ready for CAB prime rib and smoked ham carving stations. Indulge in breakfast favorites including their famous cinnamon roll casserole, a carving station for CAB Prime Rib and smoked ham, and a huge variety of appetizers, salads, and meats. Verf’s hasn’t forgotten the kids, with chicken tenders and extra cheesy mac-n-cheese. Don’t miss the pineapple tree and Belgium chocolate fondue. 9:30am – 2:30pm.

Shoal Creek Tavern, Highland Village — Hop into a brunch experience like no other. Shoal Creek Tavern’s Easter brunch buffet includes a feast of all your breakfast and dinner favorites. Make your family meal memorable. Seatings at 9:30 and 11 am, and 12:30 and 2 pm.

Hannah’s off the Square, Denton — Chef Anton has created a traditional Easter menu including prime rib, roasted leg of lamb, potatoes au gratin, and more. Make reservations early, as the tables fill up fast. Family-style dinner is served 10am to 7pm.

Cowboys Golf Club, Grapevine — Enjoy the annual Easter brunch buffet including raw bar, ice sculpture, brunch & lunch stations, carving station, specialty desserts, a bloody Mary bar, mimosa flights, kid’s buffet and more. Meet the Easter bunny, and the kids can join the hourly egg hunts on the North Lawn at 11 am, noon, 1 and 2 pm.

Lava Cantina Easter Brunch, The Colony — Celebrate a special Easter holiday with an amazing brunch at Lava Cantina. They will have a brunch buffet — including assorted deviled eggs and build-your-own waffle and shrimp-and-grits stations and live music. 10 am to 2:30 pm. (Doors open at 9:30.)

Hotel Vin & Bacchus, Grapevine — Venture to the Marriott Autograph Collection hotel in downtown Grapevine to enjoy a delightful brunch buffet featuring savory and sweet favorites and a special kid-sized buffet. After your meal, the children can have fun with the Easter Egg Hunt. You can also capture special memories at the photo station. Two seatings at 11 am and 1:30 pm.
