Alisa Lankenau’s Passion for Beautiful Design

Alisa Lankenau has spent close to two decades providing beautifully designed home and commercial interiors for her clients, first in St. Louis and the last eight years in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex with her company ALL Design Co. She’s an award-winning designer who strives to put smiles on her client’s faces.

“The industry praise and awards are exciting,” she said, “but even more important is that I enjoy my work.” Alisa finds that joy in going above and beyond for her clients. She ensures their visions and needs are met by developing a thoughtful design that seamlessly integrates with, and even improves, their lifestyle. “I want the finished result to be beautiful and unique, but I also want it functional and reflective of the client’s tastes and interests.”

These thoughtful designs are achieved through Alisa’s diligent process. When a client turns over their interior to her, Alisa’s full focus is on understanding that individual, their family, and their way of life. When she first meets with a client, they walk through what is important to the client, how they want to feel in the space, what the space is used for, who uses the space, what the client is drawn to in other spaces that they have seen, and more. She studies the colors, the styles, and the individual items already in their homes/offices. She “reads” them as closely as possible, putting together a profile that she translates into the space.

A full variety of projects fill Alisa’s portfolio. Some jobs entail changing a few key details to breathe new life into the existing design, others involve bringing an entire house down to the studs for a full remodel, creating an entirely new space. Alisa and her team of contractors and subs make every effort to ensure these projects take the least toll on the client’s precious time, their daily lives, and their wallets.

“It’s been especially exciting to have my daughter Lauren join the business,” Alisa said. “She’s extremely talented and manages advertising, marketing, and growth.” The mother/daughter team stays super busy, delivering beautiful interiors to make people feel happy in the spaces where they live and work.
