Haslet Events

It’s that time of the year again. Residents from the tight-knit city of Haslet are getting ready for their end-of-year, community-wide events and holiday celebrations! October started with the annual National Night Out Event.

It is a community-building campaign to develop police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. In an effort to make the neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live, National Night Out enhances relationships between residents and law enforcement to establish a true sense of community.

It provides the opportunity to bring both groups together under positive circumstances. Haslet City isn’t the only one participating in this event — there are millions of American communities across the U.S. working to improve the quality of police-community relationships. While many areas in Texas celebrate on the first Tuesday of October, it is also popular to celebrate on the first Tuesday of August.

The event offers safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency responders, exhibits, and more! Check out your community events website to learn more about when your town’s National Night Out event is held!
