From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I felt as though I had entered a living fairy tale. The blend of elegance and warmth was immediately inviting — ornate chandeliers, rich woodwork, hand-painted ceilings, and friendly staff who made me feel at home in this stunning piece of history. Our room overlooked the St. Lawrence River, and the city’s old-world rooftops.
As I wandered the halls. I was constantly reminded that I was walking in the footsteps of travelers and dignitaries from around the world, all drawn by the same magic and charm. This landmark hotel has undergone a meticulous restoration, adding modern conveniences and new luxuries while losing none of its century- old allure.

Dining in the hotel’s many restaurants, we embarked on an authentic French culinary journey. There are many options. The star is Champlain, a fine-dining restaurant that seamlessly blends historical charm with contemporary design, overlooking the St. Lawrence River. The French cuisine and impressive list of fine wines made our dining experience a truly special moment. Champlain has been included on the 2025 MICHELIN recommended restaurant list.
I have wanted to stay at Le Chateau Frontenac ever since I first learned about it. Everything about this historic hotel was fabulous, inspiring, and unforgettable. Le Chateau Frontenac is truly a destination on its own. With its stately turrets and regal silhouette rising from the cliffside, Le Château Frontenac doesn’t just overlook Old Québec — it reigns over it like a dreamy sentinel from another time. Every cobblestone street and lantern-lit alley below feels like it’s basking in the château’s timeless charm.
