Spring is Here

With spring break approaching or already here for some, and whether you are going on vacation or enjoying a staycation, here are a few tips to keep in mind.

1. Never advertise your plans on social media. This can endanger your safety and alert criminals, vandals, and other people that your home is unprotected.
2. Ask a trusted neighbor or friend to keep an eye on your residence and collect your mail while you are out of town.
3. Remove valuables from your vehicle.
4. Make sure all your doors and windows are locked.
5. Be aware of your surroundings.
6. Plan ahead and expect an increase in traffic.
7. Most importantly, stay safe, have fun, and drink responsibly.
