Serving Uniqueness to Your Doorstep

Little Cattle Co.

When Amanda and Steven pack boxes to prepare them for shipping, their kids joyfully apply labels and stickers. Their warehouse actually looks like a place for the family to hang out. The kids are always seen helping their parents and adding value to the business by making their customers feel special with some personal touch. When they say Little Cattle Co. is a family business, they really mean it!

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Amanda and Steven Little were childhood best friends. They have been married for over a decade and run a successful beef business. The founders of Little Cattle Co. are committed to serving beef that is grass-fed, grain-finished, and raised on their multi-generational family cattle operation.

“My grandpa used to raise cattle, so I grew up eating this type of high-quality beef. He later shut down that operation, which inspired me to start Little Cattle Co.,” said Steven, who has always been passionate about entrepreneurship.

“We started the company in 2017. The unseen hardships of a startup business are a challenge. However, navigating those obstacles has certainly built perseverance and endurance. In business, you have to sell your vision and get a great team around you; for us, that’s our business partners, the Dinnells.”

The Argyle-based company serves premium Texas Black Angus beef all over the country. Raising their cattle operation in the ranch run by Steven’s uncle, Rocky, the Little Cattle family ensures their products are packed with the nutrition they want for their family and friends.

“It’s one of my greatest joys watching my two sons want to be just like my Uncle Rocky. As a kid, that’s exactly who I wanted to be… just like a cowboy like Uncle Rocky. Not just in trade, but a God-fearing, respectful man who will always put others, his horses, and cattle above himself,” Steven speaks of the family values he’s integrated into his business.

Amanda says vision and grit have helped them become better business owners. They’re constantly working on expanding their services, which is how they learn as they thrive. Their customers vouch for authenticity as their USP — Unique Selling Proposition.

“I love hearing how our customers can truly taste the difference in our beef — the quality is so good.,” Amanda said. “I’m always proud to offer a great product to our customers that I know will serve and fuel their bodies well.”

The company has recently launched tallow skincare products. Tallow, also known as suet, is rendered from the beef fat surrounding the kidneys. It is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in vitamins A, E, D, and K.

One of the things Amanda enjoys the most is creating social media content for the company and herself. She often gets occupied with making videos at night after the three kids are in bed. She likes to build a transparent relationship with her customers by showing them behind-the-scenes activities and updates on where their food is coming from.

The Little Cattle family is grateful for the love from the local communities and customers nationwide. They encourage people to get high-quality food from trusted local sources.

“Supporting small businesses, farmers, and ranchers is so important, and we feel that support,” Amanda said. “We are here to serve our community with the best! We pray for each package that goes out the door.”
