“No liquor store will be like this one,” Michael Reyes announced with certitude.
He’s referring to Worth the Pour, a brand-spanking new liquor-store-and-more at The Realm at Castle Hills in Lewisville. It’s so new that by the time you read this, Worth the Pour should be celebrating their grand opening. And grand it will be. Three thousand square feet of space, brimming with a dizzying variety of beer, wine, and spirits. And that’s not all.
Five hundred square feet of the store is dedicated to a craft beer cave.
“We’re focusing heavily on craft selections, Texas beer, and brands from our local distilleries,” Michael said. “Taste it with us, and if you like it, you just might visit the distillery and take a tour of how it’s made!”
The cooler is kept at 34 degrees, “For the coldest beer in town!”
“Our full line of wine and spirits includes large brands, as well as lesser-known and local products,” Michael said. “There’s a tasting station for spirits on weekends, but there are always opportunities to taste a selection from our open bottles.”
Michael has owned and operated a successful liquor store before. But when he and wife, Brenda, discovered the community of Castle Hills, they knew they wanted to be part of it. “
With Worth the Pour, we’re starting and growing something that’s special to us,” Michael said.
Taking care of the community is important to them.
“We not only want you to come in and purchase our merchandise, but we also want you to learn more about the products you’re buying.”
Another reason Worth the Pour rises above the rest is catering to the customer.
“If you want to purchase a particular brand of alcohol – even if you’re the only one – we’ll stock it for you,” Michael promised.
This will be the community’s one-stop shop. The store carries stemware, glassware, bar sets, personalized items, gift baskets, and a humidor that houses a full selection of cigars.
“We’re also offering incentives and special features, such as giveaways and drawings for merchandise. We have a heroes’ discount for first responders and a military discount for our other heroes,” he added.
“We want you to be so satisfied with every purchase that every time you open one of our bottles, it’ll be worth the pour.”
