Lake Dallas Ace Hardware Coming Soon
The community of Lake Dallas is getting a new neighbor with a helpful spirit! 66 Hardware Group is excited to announce the official groundbreaking of the brand-new Lake Dallas Ace Hardware, bringing trusted service, local expertise, and quality products to the heart of town.
Store owners Alan Walter and Jason Blevins stress that this project would not have been possible without the support of Bob McDonald and his family at Lake Dallas Hardware. Bob is planning a well-deserved retirement. The opening of the new Ace Hardware will be coordinated with the closing of Lake Dallas Hardware, and the team there has been invited to transition over to Lake Dallas Ace.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place in late May at the store’s future location at 101 South Lake Dallas Drive, and the community was invited to attend. Lake Dallas City officials including Mayor Kristy Bleau, Mike Mayberry and the Lake Dallas CDC, the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce, Bob McDonald of Lake Dallas Hardware, and members of the community joined Ace representatives to mark the start of construction and celebrate what’s to come.
The new store will feature a wide selection of hardware, tools, paint, lawn and garden supplies, grills, hardware, and a 10,000 square foot Garden Center featuring live plants, houseplants, pottery, tools, decor, and more!
In keeping with Ace’s reputation as The Helpful Place, the store will also offer friendly service, expert advice, and an emphasis on supporting the unique needs of Lake Dallas residents.
Construction is expected to be completed later this year with a grand opening celebration planned for the community.
Locally owned and operated, 66 Hardware Group is proud to be part of the Ace Hardware family. Lake Dallas Ace Hardware will be the 7th store for the group – following their original two stores in Oklahoma, and four more in Texas, including Hulen Ace, Justin Ace, Denton Ace, and Rhome Ace. With over 80 years combined experience in hardware and a passion for service, Alan Walter, Jason Blevins, and Tom Knox are committed to being a reliable and friendly resource for the Lake Dallas community.
