SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

Engaging field trips cater to students from Preschool through Grade 6, offering unique opportunities to connect with agricultural heritage. For younger learners, the Farmer Duck Tour brings the beloved story by Martin Waddell to life with interactive stations that include story-time, farm chores, and visits to our delightful livestock exhibits. Meanwhile, older students in Grades 3 to 6 can delve into the Blackland Prairie Tour, which allows students to participate in authentic activities such as planting, plowing, and caring for animals, fostering a deeper understanding of Texas’s agricultural history and technological adaptations. By booking a field trip, educators not only enrich their students’ learning experiences but also support local heritage preservation efforts
