Take your patriotic spirit on the road with Flower Mound’s annual Children’s Parade, a family-friendly event where decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, and strollers will follow a short route to Leonard and Helen Johns Park. The park will offer a variety of children’s activities and live entertainment. Lineup for the Children’s Parade begins at 9:30 am at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek Road, with the parade starting promptly at 10 am. Starting with the Children’s Parade and capping it off with a stunning fireworks display, Independence Fest 2025 packs in a full day of fun and activities for everyone. Patrons will be treated to a vintage car show, food trucks, local vendors, and hours of live entertainment. Headlining the event is Chris Janson, a multi-platinum songwriter and artist known for his hits, “Fix A Drink,” “Good Vibes,” and “Buy Me A Boat.” Even better, Independence Fest is absolutely free to attend. The Sounds of Lewisville concert series draws to a close with a bang for Red White and Lewisville. American Idol alum Kate Watson opens the show at 6:30 pm, followed at 8 pm by the 8Tracks — a one-of-a-kind tribute to the Icons of Rock. Fun fact, the 8Tracks performed in front of 85,000 people as the Official House Band for the NHL’s Winter Classic in the Cotton Bowl in 2020. A drone show and fireworks closes off the evening about 9:35. Due to limited parking and street closures in Old Town Lewisville, guests are encouraged to use the complementary shuttle. The Lake Cities 4th of July

This spectacular, one-of-a-kind celebration unites Lake Dallas, Corinth, Hickory Creek, and Shady Shores in celebration of our Nation’s birth. Festivities begin with a patriotic parade (9 am). Market vendors, food trucks, and entertainment starts at 4 pm. Fleetwood Journey takes the stage at 4:30, and “the greatest disco band in the world” Le Freak goes on at 7. There’s also a frozen t-shirt contest, watermelon eating contest, tethered balloon rides, a hot air balloon glow and food trucks. The Double Oak Volunteer Fire
Department will once again host its Fourth of July Parade and Picnic on Friday, July 4. The parade will line up at Simmons Drive and Oak Trail at 9 am and will proceed down Cross Timbers Drive to John B. Wright Park where the picnic will be held. Visitors will be treated to food, drinks, and live music courtesy of the band Triple Lindy. With water slides and a bouncy castle for the kids, there’s patriotic fun to be had for all ages. All American Fireworks & Festival

City of Roanoke is proudly hosting their annual July 3rd All-American Fireworks and Festival, featuring a star-spangled evening of festivities. This year brings an exciting Kid’s Zone, carnival rides, bounce houses, balloon artists, and face/airbrush artists. Guests can also enjoy a lively Pie Eating Competition, explore the vendor market, and indulge in delicious eats from a variety of food trucks. The celebration also includes a high-energy live performance by the Emerald City Band, ending with a spectacular fireworks show that will light up the Roanoke sky.
