Family Makes it Work
Brian and Tisha White aren’t unlike most of us. They want to enjoy what they do for a living, make good money doing it, and, most importantly, create a life that allows them to be successful and still put God and family first. With three boys and a busy schedule to juggle, anyone will tell you that achieving that picture-perfect work-family balance is often easier said than done.
This is especially true when your work life has you doubling as successful local Realtors and owners of a wildly popular neighborhood co-working space. But somehow, Brian and Tisha make it all work — and dare we say, make it look easy.
As the duo behind BlueFuse Group at eXp Realty since 2014, Brian and Tisha have entrenched themselves as the go-to agency when you’re in the market to buy, sell, or invest in property in Flower Mound and beyond. They also moonlight as the owners of SUCCESS Space, a flexible workspace that helps busy people get work done, collaborate, and ideate without having to be far from home.
After all — success for the Whites starts at home.
“So much of what we have done over the years professionally has been for the love of family,” Tisha said. While she and Brian have their real estate business, SUCCESS Space has become a family affair with Connor, Dylan, and Cody chipping in behind the scenes along the way. “It all happened so quickly, but we’re working hard to build a legacy for our family.”
She added, “If you ask our boys, I think they’d also say they love working with and for us.”
Arriving at where they are today didn’t come easily. For years, Brian was a traveling sales leader with Dell while Tisha stayed at home to raise their boys. They made that dynamic work for quite a while, but the pressure of Brian constantly being gone had them daydreaming of one day taking control of their work life so he could be home every night. As they looked for ways to make that dream happen, a friend of Tisha’s approached her about getting into real estate.
One thing led to another, and the next thing they knew, they both had their real estate license. They went to work for Keller Williams Realty, then eXp in 2018, and to say their new careers took off would be an understatement.
“The first deal Brian ever did ended up being three transactions that totaled around $1.2 million,” Tisha said with a laugh. “I remember him screaming, ‘This is awesome!’ That’s when we realized we could make a go at this. I mean, here we are … our family dynamic was struggling, but his corporate job was paying well with great benefits. And now all of a sudden, we’re in a brand new business that’s 100% commission. We did it together and worked our butts off. Plus, it ensured he could be home with me and the boys every night.”
Naturally, they did what anyone would do next — they set their sights on another goal they’d been manifesting for over a decade.
“Before real estate, we were actively looking for ways to bring Brian home. One of those ideas was to open a co-working space, and we even went around looking for space,” Tisha said. “Unfortunately, we didn’t have the money or time to start a business model like that.”
That’s when God stepped in, as eXp already had a budding relationship with the SUCCESS Space franchise model. Brian and Tisha jumped in with both feet with their own location in October 2023.
Initially, the concept combined a welcoming come-and-go cafe experience with a flexible workspace that included a lounge area, micro offices, work booths, private offices, and conference rooms. To sweeten the pot, their services also included on-site business coaches and a premium podcasting studio.
Fast-forward to today, and the cafe has been replaced by a more purposeful focus on the co-working space, networking, business courses, and building a community of people looking to come together for the betterment of their businesses.
All close to home, and all with the intent of creating better balance for business owners and their families.
“People want something like this in their community,” Tisha said. “This is a family affair. We’ve come a long way together, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.”
