Diagnostic Precision
When most people think of chiropractic care, they picture spinal adjustments and pain relief. At Inspine Wellness Center in Lewisville, patients are discovering a more advanced approach to musculoskeletal health, one that combines decades of clinical experience, cutting-edge diagnostic technology, and individualized treatment plans designed to identify the root cause of pain.
Founded in January 2025 by Dr. Chin Suk Cho, Inspine Wellness Center was built around a vision to modernize chiropractic care through the use of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSK US), a diagnostic tool that allows practitioners to see many muscle, ligament, tendon, and nerve conditions in real time.
For Dr. Cho, the clinic represents the culmination of a career dedicated to both education and patient care. A chiropractic clinician for more than 20 years, he also serves as a full-time professor at Parker University, where he teaches diagnostic imaging to future chiropractors. As one of the pioneers in Registered Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK), Dr. Cho has become a nationally recognized educator and lecturer in the field of musculoskeletal ultrasound.
The inspiration for Inspine Wellness Center came from a longtime friend who recognized the potential of bringing this advanced technology directly to patients. While many diagnoses are traditionally based on physical examinations and clinical experience, Dr. Cho saw an opportunity to provide greater clarity and confidence through imaging.
“Many patients come in with pain and uncertainty,” Dr. Cho explained. “Musculoskeletal ultrasound allows us to see what is happening in real time and often helps us identify the exact source of the problem before a patient has to pursue more costly or time-consuming imaging options.”
What truly sets Inspine Wellness Center apart is its ability to provide both diagnostic imaging and treatment under one roof. Patients have access to in-house X-rays and musculoskeletal ultrasound, often eliminating the need for additional appointments at outside imaging facilities. This streamlined process allows treatment to begin more quickly and efficiently.
The practice recently expanded its availability with the addition of Dr. Joseph Kwon, allowing the clinic to serve patients Monday through Saturday. A passionate sports enthusiast, Dr. Kwon brings a deep understanding of sports injuries and rehabilitation. His expertise in sports rehab and shockwave therapy helps patients recover from injuries while improving strength, mobility, and overall function.
One patient success story perfectly illustrates the impact of the clinic’s approach. A local dentist visited the clinic after developing severe pain in his index finger. Every time a dental instrument touched his finger, he experienced significant discomfort. Using musculoskeletal ultrasound, Dr. Cho identified inflammation in the A1 pulley, a
small structure that helps guide finger tendons.
With the precise source of pain identified, the team applied targeted shockwave therapy directly to the affected area. While the treatment itself was intense, the results were remarkable. Just two days later, the patient reported complete pain relief, and a follow-up ultrasound confirmed the tissue had returned to normal.
Stories like this are what make the work so rewarding for Dr. Cho and his team.
“There is great satisfaction in helping patients understand what is causing their pain,” he said. “When they can actually see the problem on the screen and understand the treatment process, it creates confidence and trust.”
That commitment to education and transparency extends throughout every patient interaction. Rather than focusing solely on chiropractic adjustments, Inspine Wellness Center provides comprehensive care that may include rehabilitation exercises, soft tissue therapies, manual treatment techniques, and shockwave therapy.
Most importantly, the team is committed to recommending only the care that is truly necessary.
Their philosophy is simple — never force unnecessary treatments and never treat more than needed. That patient-centered approach has already earned praise from the community. One patient shared that receiving a wrist ultrasound at the clinic was significantly faster and easier than scheduling an MRI, while another praised Dr. Kwon for his thorough explanations and immediate relief from shoulder pain.
As Inspine Wellness Center continues to grow, its mission remains unchanged: combining advanced technology, clinical expertise, and compassionate care to help patients find answers, recover faster, and return to the activities they love.
