Cuts for Kids, Chill For Parents, Fun for All!

Typical kids’ salons boast colorful toys, seating, and activities to keep young clients diverted as stylists quickly try to cut their hair. This atmosphere often adds sensory overload to the haircut experience.

Sit Still Kids Salon – Flower Mound brings all of the diversions for children but delivers them in a calm, bright package that appeals to adults as well.

This experience drew owner Jennifer Kidd to her local Sit Still Kids Salon in Austin. “We were on the hunt for a place to provide amazing haircuts for my two kiddos,” Kidd said. “I was beyond thrilled when we came across Sit Still Kids.”

After moving to Argyle, she was disappointed there wasn’t a location nearby. “I caught myself driving back to Austin to take my kids to get their haircuts at Sit Still,” she said. “I knew then that the DFW area was in much need of a Sit Still Kids Salon. I called the owner of the one in Austin and, well, the rest is history! I opened up Sit Still Kids Salon — Flower Mound and could not be more excited!”

Sit Still offers popular services from standard haircuts to fun treats like sparkle strands and feather extensions. Glitter tattoos and mini-manicures are winners, as are the “Teach Me How to Braid” classes.

“It is so hard to pick what our most popular service is because we just have all the fun at Sit Still, and my stylists are extremely talented at what they do,” Kidd said. “I will say we have a ton of curly cuts and are known for having the best fade cuts.”

BFF Packages, Mini Socials, and private parties are popular as well. “We go above and beyond to pump up the party vibes,” Kidd said. “Whether it’s your child’s birthday or just a ‘hey, let’s celebrate being awesome!’ shindig, we’re here to make it epic!”

All ages are welcome, with many fathers and sons or moms and daughters coming in for services together.
