A husband of 22 years and father of nine, Dr. Matt’s focus centers on the family. An engineer by trade, Dr. Matt received his degree in Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M University. Seeking a career that offered more in personal service, he attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry where he received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. In 2020, Dr. Matt was awarded as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. 

Dr. Matt said he leans on his experience and education to provide multiple procedures in combination with the most advanced technology dentistry has to offer. His skillset in surgery and cosmetic care allows him to provide procedures that include full mouth restorations, veneers, dental implants, root canal therapy, and orthodontics including traditional and Invisalign treatment.

Fellow dentist and colleague, Dr. Lauren Smits joined the team in 2020 and provides a supportive and complimentary role to patients. 

Dr. Lauren received her Bachelors in Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry. An accomplished professional, Dr. Lauren’s dental skill is matched only by her notable kindness and charm. 

An expert in diagnosis and restorative care, Dr. Lauren is not only able to determine the best treatment for patients, her meticulous concentration on detail ensures the best of aesthetic results.

A wife of 14 years and mother of three, her maternal demeanor makes her a perfect fit for families and pediatric patients as well.
