For the last ten years, Mea worked in corporate America doing the high-stress job of payroll. “I wanted to do what I’m passionate about. I love flowers and floral design. I love weddings. Finally, on February 1st of this year, Mea made the amazing decision to follow her dreams and open up her very own full-service floral shop, Blooms of Brilliance. Becoming a state-of-the-art floral designer wasn’t an overnight process. Mea put in a lot of time, work, and effort to be able to produce the incredible and breathtaking pieces that she’s known for. She took a wide variety of floral design classes in Houston, Texas. She even completed advanced floral design classes. “I’ve done it all,” Mea explained.

When it comes to the process and experience that each bride experiences, Mea is committed to always providing perfection and attention to detail. Mea takes the time to listen to every bride’s vision for her special day. There’s no detail that goes undiscussed from the theme of the wedding to the specific type of flower they’re wanting to the color scheme of their wedding. From there, Mea goes about bringing the bride’s dream to life with a stunning sample. Once the sample is complete, Mea will bring the bride back into the shop for their approval of the sample and to discuss any modifications to the samples that the bride desires.

Each and every step that Mea takes in creating her floral masterpieces ensures ultimate perfection. “I put my heart and soul into each piece. I want everything that I create to be absolutely perfect,” Mea explained. “I get a lot of compliments on my color schemes. People love the way that I put the colors together in my arrangements.”
