Be Whole Wellness Treat the Entire Person

Jennifer Foxworth, APRN, FNP-C, decided to become a board-certified family nurse practitioner in 2020 with the goal in mind to improve people’s quality of life through integrated health and wellness.

The following year, she combined that knowledge with nearly two decades as a registered nurse to open Be Whole Wellness Center in Corinth. Originally located inside the Global Spheres Center where her husband Chad is a long-time associate pastor, the practice moved this past April into its current location at 6820 S. Interstate 35.

Her practice initially concentrated on conducting root cause detoxes to determine the real reasons for health issues. This included reviewing blood work for things like metals, molds, Lyme disease, parasites, and vitamin and/or mineral deficiencies. Since then, Jennifer has combined both holistic and traditional medicine by adding more than 20 customized IV therapies, Ozone Therapy, and Prolozone joint injections to address pain, especially in the subcutaneous tissue.

Jennifer found that making lifestyle changes could be the answer to many medical issues. These include watching blood sugar, removing processed foods from the diet, and reducing stress to name a few.

“I like to catch it before it becomes an issue,” Jennifer said.

Be Whole Wellness Center also features a variety of special lasers to address snoring, varicose veins, plus tattoo and hair removal. They have a medical grade infrared sauna and medical weight loss programs which are individualized for each patient. Jennifer treats many patients for thyroid optimization and bioidentical hormone replacement (for men and women).

Assisting Jennifer with nutrition coaching is nurse Ravin Moody, while office manager/aesthetician Tara Smith manages microneedling, chemical peels, and facials. Unlike most med spas, Be Whole Wellness Center has two medical directors – Dr. Paula Waddel for medical services and Dr. Darryll Pierce for aesthetic services and hormone therapy.

More recently, Be Whole Wellness Center won both the Denton Community Votes and Best of Denton contests in 2024.
