Be Whole Wellness Center – Your Path to Beauty & Health

At Be Whole Wellness Center, the path to beauty and health can be a gut-wrenching experience! Owner Jennifer Foxworth, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, combines traditional medicine with Integrative Health practices to address chronic conditions at their root cause, which often involves a check for a healthy gut.

With a background in critical care nursing and a passion for holistic healing, Jennifer established Be Whole Wellness Center with a vision to provide individualized care that focuses on healing chronic conditions, not just masking symptoms.

As a 12-year-old, Jennifer broke her arm and was unable to exercise for an extended period of time, which led to weight gain and was soon followed by a full laundry list of health problems including irregular periods, headaches, and pain. She sought the help of different doctors and was treated for her symptoms with medications that included being placed on birth control.

Jennifer recalled it took over a decade before she received an actual diagnosis of PCOS — Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. The syndrome often causes the ovaries to enlarge, the development of small cysts, hormone imbalance, acne, infertility, and painful or irregular periods. She was frustrated by the medications prescribed to treat the condition because they often came with unwelcome side effects.

“I just kept questioning the traditional methods being used to treat the PCOS because they would make me feel so sick.”

High school was where Jennifer began her quest for a career in medicine by shadowing healthcare providers. She went on to obtain her Associates degree in nursing at Angelo State University, where she gained experience in critical care in the emergency room working as a medical assistant.

At age 21, “I was the youngest new graduate nurse hired in 2005 into the ICU at Denton Regional Medical Center,” she said. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

While pursuing her master’s degree in nursing, Jennifer worked with integrative medicine preceptors in combination with traditional medicine. In 2020, she graduated from Spring Arbor University and received her family nurse practitioner license.

Fully armed with degrees and licensing in both the traditional and holistic approaches to medicine, Jennifer said she was ready to take the next step — behold, Be Whole!

“ I wanted to help as many people as I could with individualized care that has the goal of healing the chronic condition, not just treating the surface symptoms,” she said.

In March, Be Whole Wellness Center opened its doors in the Magnolia Business Center in Corinth offering a menu of traditional and alternative health and beauty options.

Some of their clients travel hundreds of miles to experience their unique service of IV Ozone therapy. Ozone therapy is the process of administering ozone gas into the bloodstream, which detoxifies and heals at the same time. A few known benefits include boosting the immune system, treating macular degeneration, Crohn’s disease, Raynaud’s disease, cirrhosis of the liver, allergies, Parkinson’s disease, and wound healing.

Be Whole offers a healthy mix of traditional and holistic services, including medical weight loss, nutrition, IV therapy, skin care, facials, dermaplaning, laser therapy, Botox, and chemical peels and tattoo removal.

The Be Whole team is comprised of Ravin Moody, who manages medical weight loss, nutrition, and IV therapy; Tara Smith, an esthetician and commander of the control center; and part-time receptionist and business advisor, Laura Paul.

If you’re looking for a comprehensive approach to your well-being that combines the best of traditional and holistic medicine, Jennifer encourages you to visit Be Whole Wellness Center and experience the difference for yourself.
